Sky Lounge -KUU-

If you are looking for a free-flow bar with a view near Kyoto station, this is where you should go. During lunch it is a cafe with a view, and at night it turns into a bar with romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The bar is located 45m above from the ground, in the Kyoto Tower, they have various seating options you can choose from depending on the occasion.

The roots of all evil

If you are a gin lover, this is where you should go. Located underground of Kyoto Tower, this is a bar that serves original gin. Try their photogenic "Botanic Cocktail"! They also have tea cocktails too. People generally spend around ¥1,000~2,000.

Premier bar

Premier bar is a bar where you can enjoy different kinds of drinks without any charges! The drinks are also available at a reasonable price. It is located very close from Kyoto station, so if you are looking for a quick drink around Kyoto station, this place is highly recommended. They also offer cocktails made with seasonal fruits, including guava, watermelon and peach!

Sky Lounge Southern Court

If you are looking for a place to drink with a nice view, you should put this place on a list too. Located on the 15th floor of Hotel Gravia Kyoto, directly connected to Kyoto station. On their website it is specified that guests 19 or under are not allowed, and sleeveless shirts or sandals are not allowed for male customers. Their drinks are available from ¥500~.

Soradoko Rooftop Garden

Soradoko Rooftop Garden offers unforgettable dinner/bar experience! It's only open for a limited time until September 30th, 2017, so make sure to check this place out when you are in Kyoto this summer. You get to watch one of the famous rivers, Kamogawa, and enjoy the summerly atmosphere! Their popular drink is "Mizore Yamazaki", where you pour whisky on top of shaved ice. They also have all-you-can-drink, for those of you who want to drink a lot. Around a 3 minute walk from Sanjo station, or a 7 minute walk from Kawaramachi station.

Atlantis

Great location by the Kamogawa river, friendly atmosphere, and located in Pontocho where all the good restaurants are, Atlantis is a popular bar where they mainly serve top-notch cocktails. If you are looking for a casual bar experience, you should definitely stop by. Their drinks are available from ¥730~, and they serve a variety of original cocktails like "Pontocho cooler" made of cointreau and matcha. Just a few minute walk from Gion Shijo station.
