Refreshing and Amazingly Beautiful Kakigori To Eat In Osaka

Summer in Japan is super hot and I think eating kakigori has been a summer tradition in Japan. This article will introduce the best kakigori shops in the busy and energetic city, Osaka!

cocoo cafe

cocoo cafe is located 10 minutes away from Awaza station or Honcho station and the store is right in front of Utsubo park. They have a reputation for serving soft and light shaved ice. The flavors of shaved ice vary almost everyday because they use fresh fruits and other ingredients. You can even drink up the melted ice and syrup like a juice. This store is located 6 minutes away from Shinsaibashi station, which is the main area of Osaka city. wad omotenashi cafe is a Japanese tea shop, so the flavors of kakigori use Japanese tea or ingredients used to make Japanese sweets. You can choose from brown sugar, Hojicha, Matcha, or white sugar, and it comes with the tea of the day. Enjoy the Japanese flavors of kakigori in a nice, relaxing cafe.

Shinshinsha

Shinshinsha is an organic cafe located 5 minutes away from Himematsu station. They serve dishes made from organic spices, vegetables and other ingredients, as well as their specialty coffee and desserts. They also do pottery lessons, and all the plates and cups used in the store are handmade at the pottery studio. During the summer time only, they have several kakigori flavors in the menu. ICE MONSTER

ICE MONSTER is a Taiwanese kakigori store that opened in Omotesando,Tokyo, but there is now also a store in Osaka. It is located inside a building called Grand Front Osaka, which is only a 1 minute walk from Osaka station. As it is a Taiwanese kakigori shop, they use Taiwanese ingredients such as mangoes and boba. The ice is super fluffy and will melt in your mouth in a split second!

Yuki No Shita

Yuki No Shita is a cafe famous for their pancakes and kakigori. They have many stores located in Japan, but the Osaka, Umeda store is the original store. It is located 5 minutes away from Osaka staton and Higashi-Umeda station. In many kakigori stores, they place the shaved ice in the bowl and then pour the syrup and top other ingredients. But at Yuki No Shita, they freeze the juice or fruits and shave that frozen base, so you can have a richer taste of the fruit.
