Why Go?

Anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Kaiseki meal in Sapporo should definitely consider Oryori Yamada, a cute little restaurant run by a husband and wife near Susukino. The head chef is husband Kazuyuki Yamada, a Sapporo native who gained 30 years of washoku cooking experience before opening this restaurant with his wife in 2017. He is incredibly skilled not only at choosing the best and freshest ingredients but also at preparing them in the most delicious ways imaginable. Treat yourself to a fantastic kaiseki meal at this cute and cozy little restaurant for a wonderful night out.

Prices

courses start at around ¥8,000 and go up to about ¥15,000, depending on how elaborate of a course you would like. In addition to the standard omakase courses, there are two courses that focus only on local Hokkaido ingredients. It's definitely recommended to choose one of these courses so that you can experience the best of Hokkaido's wonderful produce and meat.

Reservations / Access

It's recommended to make a reservation in advance if you plan to dine at Yamada, as the restaurant is quite small. See the link below if you need help making an online reservation.

The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building just 3 minutes away from Hosusukino Station.
