Giant Burgers, Fluffy Pancakes, and More at Harajuku's 'Farms' [PR]

Farms by Good Munchies is a new burger shop in Harajuku that has been getting a lot of attention lately. The shop is one of the best places in Tokyo to get a really tasty burger that satisfies every time. Recently, the shop began offering some interesting menu items including a humongous King-Sized Burger!

Feel free to follow favy!

Farms By Good Munchies

Opened in Harajuku in the summer of 2019, 'Farms by Good Munchies' is a burger restaurant that specializes in quality burgers that use fresh, artisan ingredients. The burgers are lush and hearty, with various topping combinations available. One of the specialties that set the burgers apart is the inclusion of house-made ghee (clarified butter, most commonly known for its use in Indian cuisine). The ghee adds juiciness and umami that has to be tried to be understood!
In addition to the shop's classic burgers, Farms has recently added a couple of interesting burgers to the menu that are worth noting.

King-Sized Burger

For those who like a big burger (and we mean BIG burger), Farms's King-Sized Burger will not disappoint. The patty is 2 and a half times the size of the already large standard burgers, and can be shared by 2 or 3 people or eaten alone as a challenge! The ¥3,000 burger comes with sauteed onions, bacon, and ghee for topping, or you can add cheese, avocados, or fried eggs if you're really feeling extra hungry. Props if you can finish the whole thing!

Low Carb Burger

In stark contrast to the monstrous King-Sized Burger, which is delicious but certainly not health food, Farms offers a guilt-free "Low-Carb Burger." Instead of a beef patty, the "burger" is made from flavorful, spicy shredded chicken breast which is served on a locally-made quinoa-infused bun that has half the sugar of a standard hamburger bun. The flavors are fresh and slightly reminiscent of a taco. The burger can be ordered on its own for ¥980, or as a set with a lovely salad for ¥1,380.
For those paying attention to the healthiness of the food they eat, this burger is a delicious and guilt-free alternative to a beef hamburger.

Homemade Milk Shakes

Another of the wonderful items on the menu at Farms is a collection of fabulous milkshakes. Nothing goes with a juicy hamburger quite like a creamy, delicious milkshake, and Farms has you covered. The shakes are thick, dreamy, and beautifully decorated, using wonderfully fresh milk from Hokkaido. The Oreo Shake is the most popular flavor, but you won't be disappointed by any of the 5 varieties!

Fantastic Pancakes

Fluffy pancakes are quite popular these days, and many of the pancake shops in Harajuku often have a line out the door. However, what not many people know is that Farms also serves delicious, homemade pancakes that can compete with the best! They not only serve classic, traditional pancakes, but also fluffy homemade souffle pancakes that are made in a unique heart shape. The pancakes are fluffy, jiggly, and so much fun to eat!
The pancakes can be ordered with a variety of toppings, including Farms' signature house-made ghee, whipped cream, maple syrup, vanilla ice cream, or mixed berries. Whether you just want a delicious dessert to finish your meal, or you don't want to wait in line for one of the pancake stores nearby, these pancakes are perfect!

Dinner Course

For those visiting at dinnertime, a special option to consider is Farms' special 6-course dinner that they only serve to two groups per night! In order to enjoy this meal, you'll need to make a reservation, but it is completely worth it! The delicious menu features a delectable wagyu burger as the main course and includes salad, soup, appetizers, and pancakes for dessert. Check it out if you're in the mood for something a bit fancier than just a burger and fries.

Farms by Good Munchies is located just off of the famous Takeshita Street in Harajuku, Tokyo, just a couple of minutes walk from Harajuku/Meiji Jingu-Mae Station.
